Financial Fitness Education

Our four (4) part Financial Fitness course is ideal for first-time homebuyers. We help you create a household budget, understand how credit scores are calculated and what you can do to improve yours. We give you the tools to develop and achieve your personal financial goals, build a rainy day fund, and learn the difference between good debt and bad debt. Class fee: $75.

Post-Purchase Education

Now that you’re a homeowner, it’s important to know how to take care of your investment. Note: certain funders may also require this as part of the terms of a grant you have received.  “Celebrating Your New Home” is a 3-hour class where local experts lead discussions on local zoning ordinances, basic home maintenance and do-it-yourself projects. Your home is the most expensive purchase you’ll make during your lifetime. Learn how to protect your wallet, and your home! The cost of this class is $25.
