Who We Are

Initially founded in 1981, the former NeighborWorks® Rochester was a NeighborWorks® Chartered Member that offered services to a wide spectrum of the community, including existing and potential homeowners, tenants and landlords in the City of Rochester. Today, NeighborWorks® Rochester has become NeighborWorks® Community Partners Rochester and offers a wide range of Homeownership programs.

NeighborWorks® Community Partners is a collaborative formed in 2016, and is comprised of four organizations. We have four offices, located in Buffalo (West Side and Black Rock-Riverside), Niagara Falls and Rochester, and are committed to providing quality services that help individuals and families with modest budgets create homes across Western, NY.

In 2019, we have begun taking steps to better align our identities by launching new names for the local organizations using “NeighborWorks® Community Partners” as the common name, with the local region attached to it to specify its service area: e.g. “NeighborWorks® Community Partners – Buffalo,” etc.

We have come together to grow our reach in providing, preserving and maintaining homes across the western half of New York State.

The impact of our organization goes beyond immediate assistance or short-term solutions; we strive to improve neighborhoods, cities and municipalities by leveraging resources and collecting data that builds positive results through additional partnerships and collaboration. Homeownership is important to building sustainable communities. We are here to help folks purchase, maintain and keep their homes.

Our collaborative is able to collectively meet individual needs for homeownership education and lending programs, home improvement and rehab support, energy efficiency, and flood programs across Western NY. Learn about our services.
